Easter Breakfast Table for 2

Once again I am joining Rita @ Panopy for a Tablescape Hop.  At the end of this post you will find the other participants, so hop around for some Spring inspiration!

We are heading to Disney with our girls and their families for Spring Break so we won't be having a traditional Easter this year.  This table was just set for a Sunday morning breakfast for just the two of us:

I placed the bunny plates on top of MacKenzie-Childs Royal Check dinner plates and paired them with matching napkins.

Dollar tree blue stemware and my hand painted champagne flutes coordinate well with the 'blues':

My 25 year old Dedham Pottery bunny, which was a gift from my BFF, sits in the center of the table:

A few Royal Checked flowers coordinate well with the dinner plates:

A simple setting for a breakfast of mini quiches and fruit!

  2. Patti, I love how we're blue & white checkmates! Right down to the Dedham Pottery bunny, which I love yours! The Royal Check flower looks like it's pinned on his bum. Your hand-painted flutes are really pretty, and that's a gorgeous hue in the DT glasses. I really like the wood on the table showing with your blue & white. Your meal is the perfect kind I enjoy for breakfast, even dinner. Have fun in Disney with your kids. It should be a blast with all the grands too. Thanks for joining the blog hop and bringing your spring flair, even if it is snowing outside today! We've got a frost that's liable to kill buds, so I was wrapping a few shrubs last night. Happy spring!

  9. Patti I love the intimacy of a table for two...well three if you count the lovely Dedham Pottery bunny! He is adorable and with his cute little bunny tail. You are so talented to paint your flutes as they look like they are professionally done. I am not that talented. Your MC pieces are a given...it wouldn't be a "Patti table" if they were not there. Happy Spring and Easter and enjoy your upcoming trip.

  10. Lovely table setting for two Patti. I have those same bunny plates and I think they look fabulous with the royal check! Hmmm, I may have to think about adding those. I love how you mix and match. The dollar tree stems and your beautiful hand painted flutes look amazing together. The bunny centerpiece is perfect and so is the MC flower. Have a wonderful trip with your family..........Happy spring.

  11. Patti, this is a darling table for two. Of course the blue and white speaks to me, and those bunny plates are charmers. Pairing them with MKC Royal Check is perfect! Fun that you and Rita both used Royal Check chargers and I have used the new Rosy Check. These checked chargers are perfect with almost any dishes. Love your Dedham bunny. I gave my Dedham pieces to my friend who lives on the Cape, but still have a bunny pitcher. I just filled it with daffodils!
Have a grand time at Disney World with your girls and their families. How wonderful to make these memories together with the boys. Happy Travels!
