I am joining Rita @ Panoply for a Christmas Tablescape Hop. The ideas at the end of this post will give you lots of inspiration for setting a lovely table this season!
My table is set for two for Christmas Eve dinner:
This antique, solid wood dining table is well over 100 years old and my mother purchased it at an antique store in the 60's. The legs are on wooden wheels and it still rolls well! A modern replica, with veneer, can be found here.
I use this table when there are only 2-4 people.
The large place cards are from Hester and Cook
This candle holder is not available anymore, but this one is similar:
The salad plates are melamine and the appetizer plates are ceramic, both from Marshall's:
I have had the dinner plates for over 15 years and they are still a favorite of mine to use during the holidays!
I rarely light a real candle anymore and love the glow of battery operated ones:
My china cabinet looked like this when I set the table....
This Courtly Check Enamel Flower Pot is perfect for faux trees!
...and then looked like this after I put the trees back up there:
Here's a close up:

Patti, what a lovely table set for two. The green, white and silver create a tranquil and serene setting for dining together. The different shades of green in your trees work well with the beautiful silver ones. Love how you continue using trees as a theme in your china and around the rest of the room. Happy Holidays!

I have the dinner plates in blue with stars but your green is certainly attractive and perfect for your "tree" setting. It Is always a pleasure to hop with you. Merry Christmas
ReplyDeleteI just love your serene Christmas table in various shades of green! The tree motif is lovely and is represented by several styles of tableware that go together seamlessly. The damask cloth is lovely, the tree sculptures eye-catching. I love it when antiques mingle with contemporary items for a greater level of interest than either alone. The gold stars add shine and the crystal stemware scatter it about. Lovely! Have a very merry Christmas!
ReplyDeletePatti, I adore your tree salad plates, so cute!! I have your dinner plates in blue, I wish I had green like yours!! a I love those as well! You have set such a pretty table. The deep green color is striking. I hope you have a lovely Christmas season!!🕊
ReplyDeletePatti, I love the theme you have going here with the trees and your color scheme. The plates are really pretty and work perfectly with your favorite dinner plates. The H&C paper products make such great graphics. Your collection of trees looks as good on the table as it does in the china cabinet. Thank you for joining the fun of these hops. I really enjoy seeing the creativty each stylist brings. Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season!
ReplyDeletePatti, How wonderful that antique table is! You have set it so pretty in the rich emerald green palette.
