The Tales of the Traveling Tote is a series of adventures that share where our Mackenzie Childs tote bags have taken us. Four times a year a group of bloggers each write a connected post about the places we have been. We have built incredible friendships through our blogs and we hope you enjoy our tales as much as we do!
It was a quiet spring for my Traveling Tote, but here's a recap of a few fun things we did:
March 2022
Pirish was a small celebration this year, but as always, it was a fun day:
April
I met my friend Linda at a cute restaurant in the heart of Syracuse, Oh My Darling:
And then we went to see her daughter's interactive wall murals:
We spent Easter in Ohio:
It was a great weekend with family and we continued the tradition of the annual family Easter Kite Flying contest and the egg hunt!
MAY
A group of friends (#macfriendzies) celebrated the 1st anniversary of the MacKenzie-Childs Outlet in Aurora with pre-shopping Mimosas and sweets and post-shopping Bellinis and snacks!
Karen, on the end, says she is "in TTT training" with her "Belt Bag"....BUT... she is out of training as of this past week because she just bought herself the Traveling Tote!!!
I walked the Multiple Sclerosis Walk with Tommy, Sean and Jen and many of her family and friends:
I enjoyed brunch with my friend, Sue, at Rise N Shine Diner in Syracuse and then we traveled to Franklin Sq. Park to see the tulips. This diner has the BEST food - and the Mimosas were even better!
Spring is so pretty and colorful in NY:
I met a few #MacFriendzies for lunch at Yards Grille at Green Lakes State Park at the end of the month. This is a fabulous restaurant, overlooking one of the two lakes in the park:
I am looking forward to summer travels and will have more to share on our September post!

Patti, as is tradition, you are a true ambassador for the M-C brand. I love seeing all your collaborative outings with your #MacFriendzies. The Easter kiting looks so fun, and I was happy to see an arm of my family holds the same tradition for Easter with their young family. I'm a tad envious of all the restaurants you have the opportunity to enjoy, yet I love reading about them and especially seeing the wonderful cocktails you seem to always be trying. If your summer is an indication of your spring, you will be one busy lady! Happy June!
