Where did the weekend go?

I tried a new recipe from a fellow blogger...no need to share the recipe as the cake was just OK!

I bought a new spoon rest at Anthropologie:

I designed the menu for a local bar:

I caught up on some painting:

I tried to order this online - without success:

And I watched the Golden Globes!

I live in central NY and I am a retired family and consumer science teacher. I enjoy all types of crafting, decorating and cooking

Looks like you were busy with that stack of painted tea pots. Looking pretty!
I've spent the weekend reading, stitching, and running errands. ;-)

the cherry cake looks so good...sorry it wasn't to die for. I did one last week from a blogger and it was so bad, I just flushed it down the garbage disposal....pitiful...Maybe we'll both have better luck next time..
