Have you tried SKINNIES Cocktail mixers yet?
RSVP Skinnies just sent me a four pack gift to try and review - that is 24 mixers!!
They have 0 Sugar, 0 Preservatives and 0 Aspartame. Skinnies are made from dehydrated fruits & plants, minus the sugar, plus a hint of stevia and erythritol (from plants) that gives a smooth and balanced taste to Skinnies cocktails.
Yesterday we tried the Cranberry Twist:
We simply mixed one ounce of vodka with 4oz soda water ....
....and then stirred in the packet of Skinnies mixer:
If you like a sweet drink, this is for you!
But then here are their suggestions if you don't like it too sweet:
I liked the flavor and felt like this was a light summer cocktail, a little sweet, so I added a little more soda water and vodka and it was perfect!
Today we tried the Mojito Twist:
This is mixed with the same ratio, 4-1, but suggests rum and soda water:
We garnished with a lime, using the whale picks that Raw Rutes sent me last year:
This was delish!
These are ways I can imagine using these Skinnies packets:
Bring them to a party or happy hour to flavor up a plain cocktail.
Keep a little bowl of them by your bar and let your guests choose the flavor they would like to try.
Add a few packets to a gift basket with mini bottles of rum, tequila and vodka and some stir sticks.
Tie a bow around a few boxes and bring as a hostess gift.
4 boxes (24 cocktails mixers) are under $20.00 and they offer quite a few varieties
And if you sign up to be on their email list, they will send you a $5 off coupon! The customer reviews are positive, they are perfect if you are on the Keto Diet, watching your sugar and carbs, or just want to have a variety of choices to flavor up a bland cocktail!
We will be trying the Baja Margarita mixer and Maui Mai Tai next!
These mixers look like fun, super convenient and cut back on calories, too. They came to the right person to review them...you even make cocktail hour special with your cute little deets.
ReplyDeleteLove your new blog design, Patti! Just saw in your bio that you were a family and consumer science teacher. It was "home ec" back in my day and definitely my favorite classes. So many great skills cultivated there.
