A Proper Garden....

We just spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Delaware, Ohio.

While there, I discovered "A Proper Garden"....


...a delightful garden center off the beaten path...


...that carries Mackenzie-Childs...


...tucked into lovely display cabinets...


...surrounded by perfectly decorated trees...


...and holiday table settings...


...filled with snowmen...


...and Vietri dishware...


and shiny gold bowls...


...and mantels in elegant woodsy themes...


...and trees with beautiful plaid ribbons and berries...


...and birch branches with icy lights...


...and the sweetest little cafe...


...with a hand written, tempting, mouth watering, seasonal menu:


It is always delightful to find a hidden treasure like A Proper Garden, and I look forward to going back in the spring!

    THAT is my kind of shop!! Just gorgeous at every turn, and food to keep you going!! I'm with Debbie..can't wait to see the spring displays. I'm close enough I could get there (and maybe shop the MC stock if they ever have promotions!).

    Like Rita, Proper Garden is my kind of shop! Garden goodies and MacKenzie-Childs too. A win-win for me. The trees are gorgeous and inspiring. Our house guests here for Thanksgiving drove off at 6 am so I'm ready to bring out the Christmas. '-)

    Oh how lovely! Garden shops can sometimes surprise me, this one is awesome and I could spend some serious time there. The hutch sure gets my attention!!!! Thanks for sharing your shopping trip.

    I'm so glad you found and enjoyed this delightful place. I just love shops like it. We have one shop here that carries MC but, gosh, they are sooo expensive. xoxo
