Strawberry Caprese Bites

IT'S STRAWBERRY SEASON!



This appetizer was very easy to make:
12 spoon tasters
6 strawberries, cut in half
12 mozzarella pearls
a few fresh basil leaves cut into thin ribbons
Balsamic


Wash and cut the strawberries in half and with a sharp knife, cut a hole in each center:







Place each strawberry half on a tasting spoon and insert a mozzarella pearl into each hole.  Add some basil ribbons to each berry:


Drizzle with balsamic:
