Easy snacks with melted chocolate....

A little chocolate goes a long way...........

You can melt, mold, dip and decorate with this chocolate.  Here are a few easy ideas:

I always have a bag or two of these meltable chocolate buttons for quick snacks.

I melt the chocolate in a little cup/bowl in the microwave for a minute, then stir, and then another 30 seconds, until it is nice and creamy!

Chocolate Dipped Potato Chips

A quick dip of the potato chip into the chocolate is all you have to do.  Let them sit on parchment or wax paper for about 15 minutes to set.

Pringles or Ruffles work very well as they don't break easily.

Strawberries, or other fruits, are also tasty dipped in chocolate. Make sure the fruit is very dry as chocolate and water to not mix well!

Serve them on a stick to turn them into a lollipop!

Soaking cherries in vanilla vodka overnight, drying them well, and then dipping them in chocolate, makes a tasty treat for adults!

Pretzels (these are Pressels) will cure the craving of something sweet and salty!

These will stay fresh in a zip bag!

Pretzel rods dipped into melted chocolate with a few sprinkles is another super way to serve a sweet and salty treat:

There are a variety of molds available at craft stores.  This is one of my favorites.

You can hide the pretzel (or cookie) inside, or let it be a base:

Flower shaped molds are cute when a marshmallow is added to the melted chocolate with a lollipop stick:

Marshmallows, simply dipped, are quick and easy:

Chocolate Covered Oreos are always a hit:

The mini Oreos are a terrific addition to a dessert tray:

Or you can just dip one side of an oreo and turn it into a "pop" by adding a stick:

Any type of plain cookie dipped in chocolate makes them pretty and tasty:

Chocolate discs with pistachios, or other nuts, are sweet and salty treats, and can be served in paper muffin cups:

What to do with leftover chocolate?  Spread a few colors out on wax paper and swirl the melted chocolate, chill and then break into chunks:

Or spread it into a circle to create a "pizza", and add lots of sprinkle and M&Ms and white chocolate drizzle:

A round pretzel or cookie can be the base for these "flowers". Dip the pretzel into chocolate and quickly add M&Ms to create "flowers":

Did you buy a bag of pretzels only to find out they were all broken?  Make some quick bark:

Lay the pretzels on a piece of parchment, cover with dollops of two different colors of chocolate and swirl - let sit in the fridge until chocolate hardens, then break into pieces:

So, this is why I always keep chocolate meltable buttons in the house - they make a quick snack or last minute treat!

Hope you found some inspiration here!
