The Tales of the Traveling Tote is a series of adventures that share where our Mackenzie Childs tote bags have taken us. Four times a year a group of bloggers each write a connected post about the places we have been.

Fall in Central NY is just a wonderful time; the air is crisp and the sun is still warm, the leaves are turning colors and fluttering through the air and there are many local activities and festivals.
Here's what kept us busy this past fall:
We took a Happy Hour Sunset Cruise with Syracuse Boat Tour on Seneca River and Onondaga Lake:
We took our daughter and grandsons for our annual Apple Pickin' day at Beak & Skiff, voted the #1 Apple Orchard again this year:
This is a local farm we visit each year for Pumpkin Pickin':
October
We took the Essex Ferry from NY to Vermont to visit family and take in the beautiful fall foliage along the Lake Champlain:
The next day we ferried back across Lake Champlain and went to Lake Placid, stopping along the way for some Maple Syrup and lots of leaf peeping!!
MacKenzie Childs held their semi annual Warehouse Sale and I had so much fun
working at it and running into so many #macfriendzies:
Another beautiful fall day trip to see the foliage, over looking the city of Syracuse:
A calm Lake Ontario on another warm October day!:
NOVEMBER
My bff visited from Massachusetts and we went to the theater, wine tasting in the Finger Lakes, cheese tasting and lots of playing games!
A day spent in Aurora, NY at Mackenzie-Childs is a day well spent:
This room, on the 3rd floor, was all hand painted!
We drove to Ohio for Thanksgiving:
And before I knew it, it was December!
Visit my Traveling Tote friends to see what they have been up to during the last three months:

Treat yourself to a tote:
Beautiful scenery and those looks like some fun vacation destinations. That's a very striking and good looking tote, I can't afford a tote like that. I just have to make due with my little purse from the Walmart clearance rack.

Patti, Merry December! Your day trips throughout the NY upstate area are awesome. It is most definitely a picture-perfect area for fall. I loved your time spent with Denise and all the fun you two have together. Your time at the M-C property has to be beneficial for them, you have so many contacts! Congrats on being such a great ambassador!
ReplyDeleteWow Patti, you have been so busy. The Happy hour cruise looks fabulous. Falling leaves, pumpkin and apple picking all sounds lovely to me, plus the ferry ride. So special you got to work at the Mackenzie Child’s warehouse sale and see your macfriendzies. I love that you and your bff got to spend some special time together. Looks like a very happy autumn.
ReplyDeletePatti, you and John stay busy traveling and spending time with your girls and their families. Love that! The sunset cruise looks like a lovely way to end a day. Fun to see so many friends shopping the sale. Beautiful fall events from apple picking to pumpkin checkers. Happy Holidays and a birthday ahead.
ReplyDeletePatti, love seeing all the fun times you've been up to this fall. Love seeing and hearing about the cruise, such a lovely time of year for that. I think you have more fun than working at MC and you get to meet up with all the macfriendzies:! Heritage Hill Brewery looks like a beautiful spot for enjoying more of nature. Great pics of you. Now on to the holidays, Happy December.......
ReplyDeletePatti, you are the queen of exploring your area - so many places to go and so many bags to go with you!!! What a wonderful fall you have had, and wonderful traditions you have created to enjoy the fall. I think it is so great that you are working at the sale now and get to meet and greet so many wonderful people that are MC lovers also! One day!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love Pratt's Falls. What a beautiful Fall we had, and you made the most of it enjoying so many places with your totes. It was great spending time with you at the sale! I just found my stash that Joe made me buy at the sale. Just in time to decide who is getting what for Christmas. LOL

ReplyDeleteI want to be a #MacFriendzie, too!!! You've had a wonderful fall, and you look darling in your pumpkin sweater at the Pumpkin Patch! So cute! When I visit our daughter in Ann Arbor I love going to the Cider Mills and getting apple cider donuts. Do you like them?
