Fall Festival at MacKenzie-Childs in Aurora.....

It's always fun to go to the M-C store in Aurora and to be greeted by Tom.  He has to be the happiest salesman I have ever met - such a kind man, always willing to chat a bit and knows the products inside and out!!  He has such a zest for life!  They are lucky to have him work there!

The Fall Festival was held this weekend and they were serving apple cider and donuts and everyone could pick a pumpkin from their "pumpkin patch":

It was a beautiful day to sit on a bale of hay and overlook the swan pond:

There were fall decorations scattered everywhere....

...and Cayuga Lake was azure blue!...

I was anxious to take the Farmhouse tour to see the autumn tablescapes....

The gardens were still in bloom...

...and there were pumpkins everywhere...

I am not sure where this rainbow came from but the "pot of gold" was certainly inside....

The formal dining room's diorama table had a huge centerpiece...

...and the table setting was lovely...

The breakfast room was loaded with checks...

Throughout the home were arrangements and groupings of autumn decor....

The kitchen cookie jars were filled with candy treats...

...and this chair  upstairs in the Courtly Check room stole my heart and took my breath away!

When you exit the farmhouse, this is the view of Cayuga Lake:

The shop was buzzing with shoppers....

...and I was excited to see the Christmas Decorations...

Isn't this jolly 'ol guy precious:

The new Marylebone was stunning....

And these new "slab" tables really caught my eye:

It was an beautiful crisp autumn day and lunch at the Fargo in town is always delish!

Hope you enjoyed the Fall Festival!

My day continued in town with some wine tasting after lunch at Bet The Farm Winery....

....and some cheese and crackers to take home...

I made a quick stop on the way thru Marcellus at "the Dump", an imaging boutique that I have been going to since 1987.  Karen can make anyone look fabulous with her quick makeovers, and I LOVE their lipstick!!

Every now and then I need a "ME" day - and today was it!
A quiet drive in the bright sunshine,  the leaves are beginning to turn, the lake was beautiful and I feel refreshed!

I just ordered a gift for me to use for the upcoming February post, can't wait until it arrives :) How much fun to have a delicious lunch then a glass of wine at Bet the Farm {love the name} and then shop at the Dump, another great name!! Sounds like a perfect day to me, thanks for taking me along!
