After many, many months of not being able to see my followers or stats, I am happy to say that they reappeared today!! I can see all your smiling faces again! I had no idea who many of you were, so welcome! I'll be over to visit soon.
UPDATE: You all disappeared again!! Anyone else having this problem?

She made it from an old toaster and a colander:

I have it displayed in the corner of my kitchen with a few old family photos tucked into the toaster....and beside it is a creamer I bought at GW with an antique cocktail napkin tucked into the handle. This holds some old flatware that I am going to turn into garden markers:

These are photos of my mother, her siblings and my grandmother.

As you can see, the colander is the shade:

I bought a set of these napkins and a small matching tablecloth at an estate sale last summer. The stitching detail is amazing:

How cute is the colander/toaster lamp! So unique.
