Jess Hall's Serendipity Spices - and a GIVEAWAY!

Jess Hall recently sent me some seasonings to try out!  I love to add lots of flavor to my cooking and was anxious to try them!

For 45 years, Jess Hall's Serendipity has been creating delicious spice blends and hot sauces.  Jess was born in 1920 and started his salt company in 1976, during his retirement. In the beginning, only stores owned by friends would carry his Serendipity. You could find it at James Matheson's Gulf Station, Ed Malone's Hardware Store and Bob Perkin's Gibson's Discount Center. Now, all of the stores in Weatherford, Texas carry the Jess Hall line of products and Jess ships his seasoning blends all over the world.

The Serendipity Lemon Pepper seasoning is DELISH!  I recently used my spiralizer and tried the seasoning on zucchini and summer squash "zoodles" and it really added a nice rich lemony flavor:

Zoodles:
Using a spiralizer, and one zucchini and one summer squash:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
Add zucchini noodles and lemon pepper seasoning to pan.
Stir for 3-5 minutes until noodles are tender.

The Lemon Pepper was delicious on chicken, adding just enough citrus flavor to compliment the pepper!

I used lots of Jess Hall's Serendipity Seasoned Pepper in homemade vegetable soup - adding a nice garlicky-pepper flavor:

And the pepper added great flavor to the steak I added to my salad:

And needless to say,  a Tito's Bloody Mary always needs to be spiced up!

I am offering Jess Hall's Serendipity Seasoned Salt as a giveaway:

Just leave a comment telling me how you would use this salt!

A winner will be announced in a week!

These seasonings were generously sent to me from Jess Hall and all opinions are my own!

  5. Sounds delicious!! I can think of a zillion things I'd use it for but the first thing that popped into my mind is fresh summer corn on the cob! I never have used lemon pepper, I must amend that asap and try it on your zoodles. Thanks Patti!

  6. We eat a lot of home fries, so these would definitely be used for that. I would also use them to season meats.
