Soup....everything but the kitchen sink...

I had a craving....

I wanted some home made vegetable soup....

I began at the Regional Market in Syracuse....

....and I bought some cabbage....

...and carrots...

...and tomatoes...

...zucchini...

...peppers...

...onions...

...fresh baked rolls...

...lots of garlic...

...then I got carried away...

...and kept buying...

...and buying...

...so, I learned a lesson....don't go to the market hungry!

...I filled my market basket and another bag...

...and came home to make soup...

...I gathered my spices, and chopped my veggies...

...and gathered all of of the ingredients - everything but the kitchen sink....

...and made soup for dinner...

...full of all those fresh veggies...

....and it was so tasty!!

Guess what I am having for lunch tomorrow?

  1. What a wonderful market, Patti. You are so right not to go when hungry. I love to make a good vegetable soup. Warms the tummy and the kitchen as it bubbles on the stove. ♥
