Inexpensive MacKenzie-Childs Hostess Gifts...

With the fall approaching, and friends beginning to entertain indoors, I am always on the hunt for sweet little hostess, birthday or thank you gifts.  I have pictured a few ideas below that I have done in the past, or will do this holiday season ~ I hope this inspires you to either introduce your hostess to MacKenzie-Childs or to add to their collection !

I save the "thank you" pockets that I receive when I order through the mail:

Inside they include info on M-C and the bill statement.  The front of the pocket says "Thank You"….

…Just perfect for a Hostess Gift, or a Thank You gift!

I then gather together a few packages of napkins...

…and simply insert them into the pocket with a pretty bow!  This is very inexpensive, and acknowledges the hostess's love for M-C products!

Another idea is to add napkins and paper plates.  This gift costs under $15!

My favorite gift I have given recently was this one….

Festoonery luncheon plates are only $5.75! Their paper napkins run between $6.75 and $8.75!  Some of the holiday napkins are currently on sale, too.  The straws are only $4:

Who wouldn't want to be surprised by this?

Wine Bags are only $15, add a $10 bottle of wine for a perfect hostess gift:

Another way to use the wine bag, is to insert guest towels/napkins inside and tie onto paper plates:

The soap dishes are also a cute little gift for under $30, just add your favorite bar of soap and tie with a pretty bow:

These were very inexpensive at the Barn Sale this year, and I wish I purchased more of them!!

The Cupcake Cups are only $8 and tied with a cake mix and spatula, completes the gift:

Straws attached to a beverage ….

….makes a $5 gift!  Just perfect for a teenager, too!

Of course, there is always the lovely checked wrapping paper, to add a little M-C flair to your gift..

  3. Patti, you should get hired by McK-C as a marketing consultant. These are fabulous ideas. I'm saving every one of these to a new Pinterest Board ~ Hostess Gifts. I always save my receipt pockets, but never thought about using them as a gift bag. Marvelous! You really do have some great ideas here. Who wouldn't want to receive one of these gifts?
