A Book Table Updated with Harlequin Top

I recently bought this table at the local auction.  The top was stripped and it was in sad condition - and once again, I got into the project without taking the before photo!

I used Valspar Courtyard Tan to cover the whole table - my new favorite color!  I just love Valspar's new color samples - 8oz for $3

The top is painted with a harlequin pattern in a darker tan, with gold dots and trim:

Just perfect for an end table:

It's off to Shabby Chic Boutique!

  2. Great colors, Patti! I have to get some of those Valspar paint samples. You are the second person I've read who mentioned them today. Love the harlequin pattern {of course!}. I'm sure this will sell quickly. The harlequin and stripe table I had in my sunroom sold very quickly when I switched it out for a bench and brought it to the booth.
