Time for Tea

It's a cold, snowy day here in NY. We have had well over 100" snow this season and I am ready for spring!

We don't see the sun very often in the winter and it is COLD!
When I first moved here in 1979, I described Syracuse as a GRAY CITY, with little sun.
And I imagine we will live here for about 5 more years or so.
So until we move somewhere warm and sunny, I will keep warm in the winter with a cup of tea,
and enjoying the beautiful snow scenes outside my window.

  2. So you were thinking you'd be there until about 1984, huh? Turned out to be a little longer than that, didn't it?

Stay warm, girl! New York is lucky to have you as a resident!!

  3. I really like your tea try set up - cozy and pretty. I would not have made it up there, as I have never liked cold weather even when I was "young".
Gray and/or cold days take a toll on me.

  12. What a day brightener! And tucked into the setting is one of the cutest little cupids. If he doesn't warm your heart, nothing will.
    Try and stay warm.

  16. A hundred inches??!?!?! Oh, my goodness! I knew you guys had gotten a lot, but I didn't know it had built up that much! We dodged the bullet until this month. We've had 2 big snow storms in one week's time. Ugh! :-( Your vignette is really pretty with one of my favorite color combos. What a great way to add some spice to an otherwise gray day! I hope the weekend brings you some sunshine!

  18. I noticed the pretty tea pot and wondered why you didn't use that for brewing your tea (so that you can pour more). Is it just for show, or can you use it?
