$.10 frame

I love the Christmas Tree Shop at this time of year. They are "cleaning house" and they have some great sales. I bought a slew of frames for $.10 each, some 4x6, some 8x10 and a few with triple frames:
My first thought when I got home was to spray paint a few of them:

Then i had to visit Kristen's Creations for some inspiration. If you haven't visited her blog, go now! She has a flair for turning ribbon into lovely bows and trims. And her home is LOVVVERLY, too.
This is what I came up with:
A sweet gift for a friend, all for "some ribbon scraps, black spray paint and a dime"!

  1. Love what you did with the frame - very pretty. Wish we had a Christmas Tree Shop here. My daughter bought a frame decorated in that same style at a shop close to where she lives. She did not say what she paid for it, but I have a feeling she could have made it for a "whole Lot" less.
    Enjoy your evening.
