This is an old lantern from Chapman Lamp Co. in Avon, MA, the town where I grew up!
I just can't seem to find the right place to display it - I keep moving it from room to room. Does this ever happen to you?

More times thank I like to admit. It really is pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lamp!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great old lantern.
ReplyDeleteI move things around all the time. My mantel gets changed a lot. Right now it is totally undecorated because I can't decide what I want to do with it.
Jane
YES! I can't tell you how many times I have to re-arrange things. My problem is two sets of nosey little hands who have to touch everything mommy makes. Sigh! Thank god I'm 6 foot tall because I can put things up really high!
ReplyDeleteLove your lantern!
Hi Patti:
ReplyDeleteYes I received the wonderful package and sent you an e-mail last week when I got it. I hope I sent it to the right e-mail address (it was a gmail account). I loved everything and can't thank you enough for your thoughtfulness!! I've worn the pendant and the pillow is prominently displayed in my studio. Thanks for being such a great blogger friend.
Jane
Hi...this happens all the time! Avon girl...did you go to Blue Hills?
ReplyDeleteThat is a great old lantern! Yes, I move stuff a lot. Mainly to keep away from climbing kids.:)
ReplyDeleteWin Rachael Ray bake ware at my blog.
Thanks!
Sherry
Love the old lantern Patti. And yep, I have things in a box right now I don't know exactly where I want to use them. Be blessed. Cindy
