Thrify Thursday #4

I recently inherited an old humidor. A humidor is used to store cigars and keep them fresh:
It is made of willow wood and needed to be cleaned up a bit. The top had veneer lifting and it needed to be polished up. The copper inside was very dull and also needed some polishing:
No cigars for me, but it holds candles and votive cups. I've never seen anything like it before...have you?

Hop over to Bloggeritaville to find more Thrifty Thursday ideas...thanks, Leigh!

  1. That is a really beautiful piece of furniture. Perfect size for where you have it sitting (love the tassle on it too!)

  4. I've only seen desk top humidors. Oh, and a walk in humidor at an import grocery store.
